Since I got the new heatsink I’ve been spending what little free time I’ve had in the last couple of weeks just trying to catch up on everything but even so I’ve gotten a few things done.
I’ve gotten The Willow Effect: Prologue up on Steam Greenlight, and as expected it’s moving quite slowly. But that doesn’t come as much of a surprise due to the niche nature of the game, but it’s still making progress so I’m happy enough with that. I’m going to use the experience of this campaign to make the one for the station generator.
Speaking of which, I’ve not had a lot of time to work on it however I did get a nifty little feature added in, which is that you can now save the .png files in a choice of resolutions if you want higher print quality or need more space for your roll 20 campaign. I haven’t implemented any UI yet but that will come.
I’ve started an account on GameJolt to see what that’s like and put up The Willow Effect: Prologue to see how I get on there (It’s first rating was 4/5 which I’m pretty happy with), and seems like a nice place. The interface isn’t what it could be but they site is still pretty well put together and more importantly the people there seem nice and there are a lot of cool games to check out, so overall I definitely recommend it!
